EMBER DAYS: Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
of this week are Ember Days. Wednesday &
Saturday are days of partial abstinence; while
Friday, as usual, is a day of total abstinence. All
three days are days of fast, as are all the weekdays
of Lent (for those who are bound to fast.)
