The faithful who in the month of March or, if that is impossible, in any other month of the years, are present at public devotions in honor of St. Joseph, Spouse of the B.V.M., may gain: An indulgence of 7 years, on any day of the month; A plenary indulgence, if they take part in ten such exercises at least, and moreover, go to confession, receive Holy Communion and pray for the intentions of Holy Mother Church.
Those who perform their devotions to St. Joseph privately during the month of March, may gain: An indulgence on the usual conditions, if they perform such devotions daily through the entire month; but if public devotions are held, this indulgence is available only to those who are lawfully hindered from taking part therein.

The faithful who devoutly take part in a public novena in honor of St. Joseph, Spouse of the B.V.M., in preparation for the Feast, may gain: An indulgence of 7 years on any day; A plenary indulgence on conditions of confession, Communion and prayer for the intentions of the Sovereign Pontiff, if they take part in the exercises of the novena for a least 5 days.
Those who perform their devotions privately at the aforesaid time, with the intentions of so continuing for nine successive days, may gain: An indulgence of 5 years once, on any day; A plenary indulgence, on the usual conditions, at the end of the novena; but where such devout exercises are held publicly, this indulgence can be gained only by those who are lawfully hindered from being present at the public exercises.

The faithful who on the first Wednesday of any month, perform some devout exercise in honor of St. Joseph, may gain: An indulgence of 5 years; A plenary indulgence on the usual conditions.
