This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It is a day of fast and total abstinence. Meat is not permitted at all on Wednesday. Blessed Ashes will be distributed after the 6:30 am Mass and also at the beginning of the 10:30 am High Mass. For those unable to receive them on Wednesday, blessed ashes will be distributed after all the Masses next Sunday.
