LENTEN FAST

Every day of Lent, except Sundays, is a day of fast. Those who are between the ages of 21 and 60 are bound to fast. Only three meals are permitted (no eating between meals). The two smaller meals must be meatless and, if combined, would not equal or exceed the amount taken at a normal main meal. Those who have a health condition that would prevent them from the fast should consult a priest, if there is any doubt as to your obligation. Expectant and nursing mothers are exempt from the Lenten Fast.
