BLESSED SACRAMENT – Acts of Adoration

Raccolta #146
a) The faithful who pay the homage of a due genuflection before the Blessed Sacrament reserved in the tabernacle, at the same time reciting the following or similar ejaculation:
Jesus, My God, I adore Thee here present in the Sacrament of Thy love! An indulgence of 300 days;
b) If they duly genuflect on both knees before the Blessed Sacrament solemnly exposed to the adoration of the faithful, reciting the above-mentioned prayer, or one like it: An indulgence of 500 days;
c) If they make some outward sign of reverence when passing a church or oratory where the Blessed Sacrament is reserved: An indulgence of 300 days.


Raccolta #147
The faithful who, upon entering a church, proceed at once to the Altar of the Blessed Sacrament and make even a brief adoration there, may gain: An indulgence of 300 days.


Raccolta #148
The faithful who devoutly visit the Blessed Sacrament and recite five times Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be, and add one Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be for the intentions of Holy Mother Church, are granted: An indulgence of 10 years; A plenary indulgence on condition of confession and Communion, if they devoutly perform this devotion for seven continuous days.


Raccolta #149
The faithful who are hindered by sickness or some other just cause from visiting the Blessed Sacrament in church, and who make such a visit in the spirit of faith in the real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament at home or wherever they are detained, reciting five times Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be, with the addition of one Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be for the intentions of Holy Mother Church, are granted: An indulgence of 5 years; A plenary indulgence on the usual conditions, if they make such a devout visit for seven continuous days provided that they are still under the same lawful impediment.
